We simply love this place! “Byholmas Gamla Station” isn’t just a restaurant—it’s a truly cozy and welcoming spot that we always look forward to returning to.
It’s perfect for families—there’s a playground where the kids can play year-round, and in the warmer months, they can also meet the adorable rabbits, which is always a highlight. The place has such a warm atmosphere, with a charming interior and staff that make you feel like old friends. The food is traditional and you can really feel the care that goes into each dish.

Super nice and cosy location and very friendly people. Service is excellent. We were 3 people and had 3 different dishes that were all very tasteful. The quality of the ingredients is way better than in the most Swedish restaurants. A nice little shop to find local products and presents. Good pricing! We will go back there!

Wonderful and cozy atmosphere and very welcoming owners. The whole menu sounded tasty, and what we had was amazing - some of the best chips I've ever had 🤤 everything was clearly homemade, even the ketchup. You can shop for other Homemade goods and souvenirs as well (which we did of course 😍). Very reasonably priced, especially for the quality and portion sizes. Strong recommendation!

A super nice restaurant, run by Germans, at the end of the hiking trail from Camping Bolmen around Lake Bolmen. A great selection, fair prices, very friendly owners, and a super delicious moose burger with the best fries I've ever had! Absolutely recommendable! The chef even offered me seconds 😎👍👍 I'll definitely be back. Even the dog was allowed in the restaurant. Thank you so much, that's not a given 👍👍

Vom Camping Bolmens sind es ca. 10km mit dem Fahrrad immer der alten Bahnstrecke entlang durch den herrlichen Wald. Am Ende der Bahnstrecke erreicht man das kleine nette Lokal. Mit sehr leckerem essen für einen ordentlichen Preis. Die deutschen Inhaber machen auch einen guten Vorschlag was man essen kann bzw. sollte. Ich hatte einen sehr leckeren Elchburger und meine Frau ein super Schnitzel.
Es ist für mich ein echter Geheimtipp und wir kommen wieder!!
Und Augen auf beim Fahrrad fahren es gibt einiges schönes entlang der Strecke.Översättning
From Bolmens Camping, it's about a 10km bike ride along the old railway line through the beautiful forest. At the end of the railway line, you'll reach a nice little restaurant. It serves delicious food at a reasonable price. The German owners also offer good suggestions for what to eat. I had a delicious elk burger and my wife had a fantastic schnitzel. It's a real insider tip for me, and we'll be back! And keep your eyes open while cycling; there are some lovely things along the route.

Very good, well-cooked food and a very good reception from the staff. ☺️. I, who have celiac disease, could choose from many choices from the menu and wow, what a pizza I got. It was the best gluten-free pizza I've ever eaten. We will definitely head here several times. The husband ate a moose burger and I a gluten-free pulled pork pizza. What great food. 🤩🙌🏼. Ein „must visit“ Platz. Super Ambiente und die Elchburger sind unglaublich lecker. Man spricht hier auch deutsch. Tolle Cocktail Karte und kleine gute Weinauswahl. Gibt auch Snacks und guten Kaffee.

Fantastische plek in het bos. Ze serveren heerlijke pizza’s ook glutenvrij. Daarnaast ook andere heerlijke gerechten, zie de foto’s voor het menu. Vriendelijke service en zeer schappelijke prijzen. Ook voor Zweedse begrippen. We waren op vakantie in de omgeving en zijn er meermalen wezen eten. Top!
